On Site / in House HABC Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing & Inspection Skills (One Day)

The qualification is intended for use by persons who are or who may be involved in practical auditing or inspection of food premises, including internal or 3rd party auditors, enforcement officers and persons responsible for verifying HACCP, with the main emphasis of the qualification being on practical inspection and audit skills in the workplace.

Persons gaining this qualification will know and be able to apply the knowledge relating to the role of the auditor in carrying out effective audits or inspections: including the purpose of audits/inspections, benefits and limitations, the auditing/inspection cycle, check lists, data gathering, analysis and interpretation and reports.


The Level 3 Award in Effective Auditing and Inspection Skills is a qualification aimed at technical managers, quality managers, supervisors, team leaders, internal auditors and line managers working in all sectors of the food industry, consumer products, hospitals and other industries, where verification, auditing or inspection is undertaken. The course is run over 1 day and meets the requirements for the training of internal auditors for BRC certificated companies.


It is recommended that candidates have suitable technical knowledge of the relevant practices and procedures which will be subject to audit/inspection, for example, a Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety or Level 3 Award in HACCP for persons employed in the food industry. Candidates may be experienced Technical or Quality Managers or other members of the QA team.


This course is held 'in house' for other training companies or food companies at a location or country of your choice. This course can be added to a Level 3 or 4 Food Safety / Haccp course or can be a stand alone course e.g. for internal auditor team in a BRC certificated company.
The course is normally taken over 1 day.
